Prepare the wall surface:
Before applying wallpaper, the wall must be clean, smooth, and dry. Remove any dust, dirt, or grease using a damp cloth and mild detergent. Fill in any holes or cracks with wall filler and sand the surface for an even finish. If the wall has existing wallpaper, remove it completely to ensure the new wallpaper adheres properly.
Measure and cut accurately:
Measure the height and width of the wall to determine how much wallpaper is needed. Add a few extra inches to allow for adjustments during installation. Lay out the customized wallpaper and cut it into strips, ensuring the pattern aligns correctly. Mark the back of each strip to keep track of the order in which they will be applied.
Apply adhesive evenly:
Depending on the type of wallpaper, an adhesive may be required. Some wallpapers come with a self-adhesive backing, while others need a separate paste.
